The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading lower by 122 points at 23,362, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Friday.
Earlier on Thursday, 10 September, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex gained by 138 points or 0.19%, and settled at 74,902 while the Nifty50 traded 0.20% higher, closing at 23,477.

Premier Energies: Premier Energies has signed a binding term sheet with RCT India, a part of Germany-based RCT Group, to form a joint venture (JV) for setting up a 12 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility in Telangana. The proposed facility will be developed through Premier Energies’ subsidiary, Premier Battery Technologies. The first phase of the project will have a capacity of 6 GWh.
Bharat Forge: Bharat Forge Holding GmbH (BFH), a wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Bharat Forge, has merged with Bharat Forge Global Holding GmbH, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary and BFH’s immediate holding company. Bharat Forge said the merger will have no impact on its standalone or consolidated financial statements. The company has undertaken the merger to simplify its corporate structure.
HDFC Bank: HDFC Bank said a Bahrain court has rejected two claims filed against the bank by investors in Credit Suisse Additional Tier 1 (CS AT1) bonds. The court had already rejected five similar cases filed by CS AT1 bond investors between July and August this year. With the latest rulings, HDFC Bank has now secured seven favourable judgments in these matters.
