ACME Solar touched a day high of Rs 425.50 after commissioning 66.68 MW of solar capacity and 300 MWh of battery storage in Rajasthan.
Here is what actually happened on the ground. Through its subsidiary ACME Renewtech, the company commissioned the first phase of a hybrid renewable project at Kelan village in Bikaner.
That 66.68 MW is only part of a bigger 300 MW solar plan, one that will eventually run alongside 100 MW of wind capacity at the same site.
There’s a storage piece too, and it’s a separate project altogether. Through another arm, ACME Greentech Seventh, the company commissioned 53.63 MW or 300 MWh of battery capacity.
It’s a slice of a larger 300 MW or 1,581 MWh system built to keep supplying power even outside peak demand hours.
Both projects already have buyers lined up. NTPC will take the solar output, SJVN gets the battery storage power, and financing has been arranged through Power Finance Corporation and REC.
This fits a pattern rather than standing alone. ACME Solar’s total operational renewable capacity now sits at around 3,057 MW, and its battery storage has crossed a fresh milestone at 4.16 GWh.
The company expects both projects to be fully commissioned by the third quarter of FY27. By the close of trading, the stock settled at Rs 418.00, down 0.57% for the day.
On Wednesday, ACME Solar closed at Rs 418.00, down 0.57% on NSE.
