Hang Ten Systems Raises Another $53 Million in Seed Funding

The latest investment takes the company's total funding to $85 million.

Hang Ten Systems, an enterprise AI startup founded by former Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka, has raised another $53 million in seed funding, just five weeks after closing its initial $32 million round.

The latest investment takes the company’s total funding to $85 million. The new round was led by Xora Innovation, the early-stage investment platform backed by Singapore state investor Temasek. Mayfield, which led the company’s earlier funding round, also participated.

Other investors include Aramco Ventures, Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, who also serves on Hang Ten’s board.

Founded in May 2026, Hang Ten focuses on helping large enterprises use AI to build, update and maintain software. The company typically works with businesses generating more than $10 billion in annual revenue and provides both AI strategy and software development services.

Sikka believes AI can significantly reduce the time and cost involved in developing enterprise software. Instead of relying mainly on traditional coding teams, Hang Ten uses AI-driven development tools and an in-house framework called Hobie, which packages reusable AI capabilities for complex and regulated industries.

The startup has already attracted several large enterprise customers and prospects. According to Sikka, Hang Ten is working with 21 major enterprises across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Its customers include Fresenius Kabi, Saudi Aramco and Siemens Energy, while the company has also secured multiple seven-figure contracts.

The startup says some projects can be handled by teams of two to four people that would traditionally require much larger teams. However, customers and independent third parties continue to conduct final quality checks and certification.

Hang Ten plans to use the fresh capital to expand its engineering, consulting and sales teams. It currently has around 20 to 25 employees across the US, Middle East and Australia, with plans to hire in Europe and India.

The company is entering a competitive enterprise AI market, where technology companies and traditional IT service providers are also developing AI-based software solutions. Hang Ten is positioning itself around enterprise-specific software development rather than building another general-purpose AI model.
