Welspun Corp shares hit a fresh intraday high on Monday after its Saudi associate EPIC secured a Rs 2,000 crore pipe supply order from Aramco.

The contract covers the manufacturing and supply of steel pipes to Aramco, the Saudi state owned oil giant, and Welspun Corp confirmed the update through a filing to the stock exchanges.

According to the filing, the order will be executed over the next six months. Its financial impact will not show up all at once either.

It is expected to be spread across two quarters, starting from Q4 of FY27 and continuing into Q1 of FY28.

EPIC focuses on a specific type of pipe called Helical Submerged Arc Welded, or HSAW, pipes, and operates fully integrated manufacturing facilities within the Kingdom.

Welspun Corp said EPIC’s ability to deliver large projects on time, while meeting quality standards, has helped it build a reputation as a preferred supplier in Saudi Arabia.

The company also noted that this order supports Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 infrastructure plans. This is not a one off event for Welspun Corp either.

Around a month back, the company had already secured its biggest order to date, valued at close to Rs 17,200 crore, for pipe supply from its plant in the United States.

Taken together, these wins show a healthy stream of new business flowing in across the company’s plants in India, the US and Saudi Arabia.

At 11:14 am, Welspun Corp shares were last trading at Rs 2,702.20 on the NSE. The counter has had a strong few months, rising nearly 87% over the past three months and gaining more than 232% since the start of the year.
