The GIFT Nifty futures, which is an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, was trading lower by 57 points at 23,337, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a muted start on Wednesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, 22 September, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 329 points or 0.44%, and settled at 74,529 while the Nifty50 traded 0.36% lower by 85 points, closing at 23,329.

IRB Infrastructure: The Board of IRB Infrastructure Developers has given in-principle approval to monetise its non-core assets by developing land parcels in phases. The land covers around 350 acres out of the total 1,100 acres owned by Aryan Infrastructure Investments (AIIPL) at Taje and Pimpaloli villages in Pune district.
Lemon Tree Hotels: The company has opened Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels in Nashik, marking its first hotel in the city and expanding its presence in Maharashtra. The hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.
Persistent Systems: Persistent Systems has acquired 75.68 lakh equity shares, representing around 61.15% of Nagarro SE’s outstanding share capital, through a voluntary public takeover offer. The company had earlier acquired a 22.10% stake in Nagarro under a share purchase agreement with Lantano Beteiligungen GmbH. Following the latest acquisition, Persistent Systems’ total stake in Nagarro stood at 83.25%, excluding treasury shares, as of September 17.
