Cosmic CRF shares touched a day high of Rs 1,324 on the BSE, after its subsidiary and the parent firm together bagged Rs 25.94 crore in new orders.
Cosmic CRF’s subsidiary, N.S. Engineering Projects, has secured a purchase order worth Rs 14.14 crore for supplying around 1,208 metric tonnes of fabricated structural steel to a Kolkata based infrastructure client, with a three month execution window.
The company said this is an arm’s length deal, with no promoter interest involved. Separately, the parent company, Cosmic CRF itself, picked up its own order worth Rs 11.80 crore, taking the combined order value across both entities to Rs 25.94 crore.
This isn’t happening in isolation either. The company has recently been working to bring N.S. Engineering Projects fully under its own roof, through a share swap worth Rs 96.43 crore to acquire the remaining 26% stake and make it a wholly owned subsidiary.
Earlier this year, in July, Cosmic CRF had also picked up a letter of intent to acquire Amzen Transportation Industries for Rs 284 crore as part of an insolvency process, a move meant to expand its wagon manufacturing footprint beyond West Bengal.
In September, the company’s promoter group also converted over 1.5 lakh share warrants into equity at Rs 1,614 per share.
For the year ended March 2026, Cosmic CRF reported consolidated revenue of Rs 716.60 crore, up sharply from Rs 401.63 crore the year before. The company currently runs a manufacturing capacity of around 1,33,600 tonnes per annum across three units.
Shares of Cosmic CRF closed at Rs 1,310.00 on the BSE, up 3.28% for the day, giving the company a full market capitalisation of around Rs 1,203.58 crore. The stock’s 52 week range stands between Rs 550.00 and Rs 1,519.95.
