NCC shares touched a day high of Rs 131.12 on 1 October, up 2%, after the construction firm bagged two new orders worth Rs 500.22 crore.
Hyderabad-based NCC Limited told the exchanges about the orders in a filing dated 30 September.
The company received both during September, in the normal course of business. The Buildings Division won orders worth Rs 224.74 crore.
The Transportation Division secured another Rs 275.48 crore. Both figures leave out GST, the goods and services tax.
The filing does not name the clients or the projects. It also gives no locations or deadlines, so the scope of the work is not yet clear. None of the orders is an internal one.
NCC said its promoters and group companies have no interest in the firms that awarded the work.
So the deals are not related-party transactions, which means deals with companies linked to the owners.
These two orders sit on top of a bigger win. On 28 September, NCC disclosed an order worth Rs 1,076.71 crore, also excluding GST.
With the new Rs 500.22 crore, disclosed order wins for September come to Rs 1,576.93 crore.
For context, NSE lists a dividend of Rs 2.20 a share with an ex-date of 14 August. It also shows a board meeting on 6 August to consider the company’s financial results.
At 14:18 pm, NCC shares traded at Rs 127.92 on NSE, down by 0.74%. That is below the morning high of Rs 131.12.
The stock is down 20.85% so far in 2026 and 39.07% over the past year. It sits close to its 52-week low of Rs 126.65, set on 29 September, and far below its 52-week high of Rs 217.25. Its market value is about Rs 8,031 crore.
