Solex Energy shares hit a day high of Rs 692.65 on 5 October, up 3%, after the solar firm bagged fresh module orders worth Rs 75.96 crore.
Solex Energy Limited told the exchanges on 3 October that domestic buyers in the power and electricity sector placed the orders.
The company will make and supply solar panels, and the order value includes taxes. The panels are N-type TOPCon modules rated at 620Wp.
TOPCon is a newer panel design that squeezes more electricity out of the same sunlight than older types.
Solex makes its panels at a plant in Tadkeshwar, Gujarat, which has 4 GW of module capacity. Delivery is due by the end of November 2026.
The firm also said the orders are not related party transactions. Its promoters and group companies have no interest in the buyers.
Solex has been busy over the past few months. It reported orders of over Rs 628 crore in July and another worth Rs 42.47 crore in August.
On 3 September, it added work orders worth Rs 74.77 crore, due by December 2026, along with a letter of intent for about Rs 174.30 crore.
A letter of intent shows a buyer plans to place an order, but it is not yet a final contract.
At that time, the company put its executable order pipeline at about Rs 846 crore, targeted for completion by 31 December.
For the April to June quarter, consolidated revenue rose 1.8% year on year to Rs 265.63 crore.
The company has also outlined a Rs 4,000 crore spending plan through FY30 to add solar cell and battery storage capacity.
At the close on 5 October, Solex Energy shares stood at Rs 682.20 on NSE, up Rs 11.25 or 1.68% from the previous close of Rs 670.95.
The stock opened at Rs 683.75 and never dipped below Rs 676.00 during the session. It has still lost 48.94% so far this year, and its market value is about Rs 737 crore.
