Interarch Building Solutions touched a day high of Rs 1,709.90 on 6 October after the company announced a Rs 61 crore copper refinery order.

Interarch told the exchanges about the order at around 12:21 pm. The job is to design, engineer, make and supply a pre-engineered steel building for a copper refinery project in Gujarat.

In simple terms, the steel frame is built in a factory and put together on site. That helps big industrial projects move faster.

The order is worth about Rs 61 crore including taxes. Interarch has around 12 months to finish it, and the customer will pay 20% in advance. It is a domestic order.

Interarch is a pre-engineered steel construction company. It handles the whole job, from estimation and design to fabrication and on-site installation.

It runs five integrated plants plus a sixth facility for pre-engineered buildings, with total capacity of 221,000 metric tonnes a year.

On 30 September, sources reported that the company had won a separate Rs 89 crore order for a data centre building.

Both wins land on a growing order book, which stood at Rs 1,864 crore on 31 July, before these two orders.

In the April to June quarter, revenue rose 20.7% to Rs 459.6 crore, and operating profit (EBITDA) climbed 24.6% to Rs 39.4 crore. Net profit slipped 0.5% to Rs 28.2 crore.

Shareholders also have a dividend of Rs 12.50 a share on record, with an ex-date of 3 September.

Interarch shares closed at Rs 1,685.60 on NSE, up Rs 23.90 or 1.44%. About 0.57 lakh shares changed hands, and the company’s market value stood near Rs 2,835 crore.
