LCC Projects won a ₹62.32 crore civil contract from Reliance Industries for a 400 kV power substation in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Reliance Industries Limited sent LCC Projects Limited a Letter of Commitment dated October 9th, the company informed exchanges. That was a Friday.
It is the customer’s formal green light, and the company can now begin work, with the remaining terms following the contract conditions both sides have agreed.
The site is a 400 kV substation under Reliance’s Kutch RE Project Z2, a renewable energy scheme.
Put simply, a load pooling substation is a collection point where power from several sources is gathered before it moves onto the wider grid, and the equipment inside is gas-insulated, a compact design that takes up less space.
LCC’s share is the civil side. That usually means foundations, structures and buildings, the groundwork the electrical equipment later sits on.
The basic value is Rs 62.32 crore before GST, the goods and services tax. With 18% GST on top, the bill would come to roughly Rs 73.5 crore.
Nine months is the window. Counting from 9 October, that points to a finish around July 2027. The customer is a domestic one, and so is the work.
According to LCC, the order is not a related-party transaction, and its promoters and associated firms have no stake in Reliance.
LCC, which used to be called Laxmi Construction Company, is an EPC firm, meaning it handles engineering, procurement and construction.
Over about two decades, it has built a record in large government projects such as water supply systems, irrigation dams, canals, metro rail and roads across several states.
The company only recently arrived on the stock market. It launched its IPO, the first sale of its shares to the public, in September 2026 and now trades on both BSE and NSE, India’s two main stock exchanges.
