LCC Projects shares hit a day high of Rs 138.52 on Oct 19 after winning a Rs 151.57 cr water supply order from Gujarat.
The Gujarat-based construction firm told exchanges on Friday, 16 October, that the Executive Engineer of the Sauni Yojana Division in Rajkot has formally accepted its tender.
In plain terms, the state government has picked the company for the job. The order is worth Rs 151.57 crore, and GST comes on top of that.
The work involves supplying water from the Machhu-I Dam to the Triveni Thanga Reservoir and to several villages in Wankaner and Chotila taluka.
It is an EPC contract. That means one company handles the design, buys the materials and builds the project from start to finish.
The job does not end at handover. Once the system is running, LCC will look after it for 10 years.
On 25 September, the company emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 653.34 crore solar-powered sprinkler irrigation project in Jhalawar, Rajasthan. That figure includes GST.
LCC Projects has also received two civil works orders from Reliance Industries Limited, worth Rs 70.35 crore before GST, for work in Kutch, Gujarat.
On the results front, the company reported consolidated revenue of Rs 802.59 crore for the April to June quarter of FY27, about 15% lower than a year earlier.
At the same board meeting on 5 October, directors also cleared a new Indian arm, LCC Hinglaj Industrial Solutions Private Limited.
At 9:45 am, the stock was trading at Rs 137.00 on NSE, up by 0.85% from the previous close of Rs 135.84.
The 52-week range, which covers just over a month of trading since the 17 September listing, stands between Rs 132.56 and Rs 189.00.
