Mehul Telecom has opened nine franchise mobile stores across Gujarat in ten days, with the newest one launching in Visnagar on 20 October.

The Visnagar outlet, in Mahesana district, began trading on 20 October. It is the ninth store the Rajkot-based company has opened since 11 October.

The rollout came in waves. Morbi and Vatva in Ahmedabad opened first, on 11 October, and Chikhli in Navsari followed the next day.

Pranchi and Kodinar, both in Gir Somnath, started trading on 16 October. Gariadhar in Bhavnagar, Rajula in Amreli and Narol in Ahmedabad all opened together on 18 October.

Two outlets opened in Ahmedabad and Gir Somnath each, with single stores in Morbi, Navsari, Bhavnagar, Amreli, and Mahesana across 7 districts.

Two shop names are in use. Mobile Daddy appears on four of the new stores, in Morbi, Vatva, Pranchi and Gariadhar.

The other five, in Chikhli, Kodinar, Rajula, Narol and Visnagar, carry the Mehul Telecom name.

All nine are ground-floor shops. The Visnagar one is at Sanskrut Square, near Mahesana Chokdi.

The Kodinar shop stands beside the ST bus stand, and the Rajula shop is close to the police station.

Mehul Telecom told the BSE about the openings in notices under SEBI’s listing rules.

The company began in May 2023 and sells phones through a mix of shops it runs itself and shops run by franchise partners. Its registered office is in Rajkot.

Inside these stores, shoppers find smartphones and tablets, along with smartwatches, earphones, chargers, power banks, phone covers and warranty plans.

The brand list covers Samsung, iPhone, Vivo, Oppo, Realme, OnePlus, Redmi, Nothing, Tecno, Infinix and Nokia.

Business Remedies reported the first three stores, in Morbi, Vatva and Chikhli, on 13 October. Six more opened in the days after.

With Visnagar open, the company has launched nine stores across seven districts in just ten days.
