Dynamic Cables set up machinery at its new Reengus, Rajasthan plant, expecting to boost total production capacity by ~20%.
In a filing to the stock exchanges on 26 October, the company said the plant and machinery are now installed at its new facility in Reengus, in Sikar district.
The filing came under SEBI’s disclosure rules, which require listed companies to report major developments. Once production begins, installed capacity should rise by roughly 20%.
Installed capacity is the most a factory can make when it runs at full strength, so Dynamic could turn out about a fifth more cable than before. Capacity is not output.
How much the company actually makes will depend on orders and on how fast the new line gets going.
Reports on the filing give no cost for the unit and no exact start date, and the company said the details are also on its website.
The timing lines up with a full order book. At the end of June, Dynamic had orders worth about Rs 811 crore still to be delivered.
That is about two-thirds of last year’s revenue, and more machines give the company room to work through it.
Recent results show a growing business. Revenue for the June quarter reached Rs 349.1 crore, up 33% from Rs 262 crore a year earlier, and net profit rose 37%.
For the year to March 2026, Dynamic posted revenue of Rs 1,197.8 crore and a net profit of Rs 84.4 crore, up 30%.
Shareholders also approved a dividend at the annual meeting in July. Dynamic makes power cables, the kind used to carry electricity through grids and industrial sites.
The Reengus site adds to the capacity it already has. Neither source says how much of the new capacity the company expects to use in its first year, or which customers it will serve.
