The Competition Commission of India has dismissed allegations that Kanoria Chemicals & Industries has abused its dominant position through imposing unfair prices for supplying of an organic chemical Pentaerythritol.
Penta (Pentaerythritol) which is a basic organic chemical that is used for a variety of purposes including in manufacturing of alkyd resin, rosin esters and printing inks.
The Competition Commission of India for this case considered ‘the market for sale of Penta in India’.
