Asian Development Bank has raised Rs 500 crore in rupee linked bonds

Asian Development Bank (ADB) which is a multilateral funding agency, has raised Rs 5 billion, or around Rs 500 crore through issuing five year offshore Indian rupee-linked bonds.

It has said in a release that “The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has raised Rs 5 billion (about USD 74 million) from its issuance of 5 year offshore Indian rupee (INR) linked bonds.”

According to ADB, this has been its third bond issue in the offshore rupee-linked market, and the second such issue this year.
