What is the meaning of bid rate, ask rate and LTP in the terminal?

LTP is displayed just for your information. It just tells at what price the recent trade took place in that scrip.

If you are buying, you should look at the Ask Rate. This is rate at which you can buy. (Someone is asking you, do you want to purchase from him at that particular price). Also Ask Rate is accompanied with Ask Quantity

Similarly, Bid Rate is the rate at which you can sell the stock (someone had asked the quantity of stock for him/her to buy at that particular price). Also Bid rate is there with some bid quantity specified.
For ex- particular stocks bid is at 220.5, ask is at 220.65 and LTP is at 220.60, it means you can sell the stock at 220.5, buy at 220.65, and last trade was 220.60.
