NTPC’s 250 MW unit at Nabinagar has started commercial operations

NTPC has said that its commercial capacity has been increased to 46,178 MW as its subsidiary’s 250 MW unit has became commercially operational at Nabinagar Bihar.

NTPC has said in a statement that “The 1st Unit of 250 MW of Nabinagar Thermal Power Project of Bhartiya Rail Bijlee Company Ltd (BRBCL), a subsidiary of NTPC, (4×250 MW) declared commercial operation from 00:00 hours of January 15, 2017.”

It added that with this, the commercial capacity of Nabinagar Thermal Power Project of BRBCL and NTPC has become 250 MW and 46, 178 MW, respectively.
