An MoU has been signed by Oil India Ltd with the University of Houston for the purpose to augment its reserves base and maximise recovery from its ageing oilfields.
In the presence of Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the MoU has been inked.
Pradhan, terming the MoU as historic, said that this will go a long way for the pilot study of C02 capture technology application in Assam oil fields.
