Axis Bank has reduced home loan rates by 30 basis points (bps) to 8.35 percent for loans up to Rs 30 lakh for the salaried segment borrowers.
Axis Bank rates are the lowest in the industry now as the State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, HDFC and LIC Housing Finance offer 8.35 percent to its women borrowers whereas the rest of the customers are offered home loans at 8.40 percent to boost affordable housing.
The bank has said that the revised rate will be with effect from May 16.
The loans up to Rs 30 lakh will be charged an interest rate of 8.40 percent for the self employed segment.
