Alembic Pharmaceuticals has got the the US health regulator’s approval for Amantadine Hydrochloride capsules that are used in treating symptoms of infection caused by influenza virus.
Alembic Pharmaceuticals said in a BSE filing that “The company has received approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its ANDA for Amantadine Hydrochloride capsules USP 100 mg.”
The company said that the Amantadine Hydrochloride capsules are used for the “treatment of signs and symptoms of infection caused by various strains of influenza A virus.”
