ITC has said that Ashok Malik, who was appointed the press secretary of the President of India, has resigned from its board of directors.
The company has said that “Ashok Malik resigned from the board of directors of the company with effect from close of work on July 31, 2017, consequent on his appointment as press secretary to the President of India.”
The government, on July 22, named Malik as the press secretary to the newly elected President Ram Nath Kovind.
