Wipro, India’s third largest software services company has received a 7-year deal from innogy,SE which is a European energy company.
However, the financial details of the contract were not shared by the company. Wipro stated in a BSE filing that,”innogy transferred its twin data centers in Neurath and Niederaussen in Germany to Wipro on February 1, 2017.”
Innogy SE CIO Marcus Schaper stated,”This engagement is strategic to our IT operations….we have not only signed a contract in Germany but also have extended our contract with Wipro in the UK till 2024.”
