Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has got an approval from US health regulator to market Desonide Ointment, to treat skin problems,in the American market.
According to company’s statement, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc, a subsidiary of the company, has got the final consent from the US Food and Drug Administration(USFDA) for Desonide Ointment.
The Mumbai-based company’s product is generic version of Perrigo New York Inc’s Desonide Ointment.
Glenmark has currently 124 products authorized for distribution in US marketplace and 62 ANDAs are pending for approval with USFDA.
