Asian Development Bank(ADB) stated that it is planning to raise annual lending to India to a maximum of USD 4 billion per year during 2018-2022 with an aim to accelerate inclusive economic transformation.
In a release the bank stated that ,”The Asian Development Bank(ADB) plans to raise its annual lending to India to a maximum of USD 4 billion to support thr country to accelerate inclusive transformation toward upper middle income status.”
The proposal was endorsed at new ADB Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) for 2018-2022.
