RBI has kept the key repo rate unchanged at 6% and reverse repo rate unchanged at 5.75%.
RBI stated that, the gross value added(GVA) growth forecast for FY18 has been revised to 6.7% from 7.3%. Bank rate and marginal standing facility has been kept unchanged at 6.25%.
Statutory liquidity ratio(SLR) has been cut by 50 basis points to 19.5%, which will be effective from fortnight starting October 14.
