T V Narendran, has been promoted by Tata Steel as the chief executive officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD).

Narendran, was serving as managing director (India and South East Asia) from the last four years. He had joined Tata in 1988.

Further, Tata’s board has also re-appointed Koushik Chatterjee as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer for 5 years, with effect from November 9.
