LiveHCL Technologies, as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plans to invest approx Rs.110 crore, in an initiative Samuday,which is working for the upliftment of rural areas via the use of technology.
The project basically works in areas of education, livelihood, health, infrastructure, sanitation and agriculture. Till now, the project has been implemented in the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh across 720 villages.
Moreover, Navpreet Kaur, director, Project Samuday stated that the idea is to make rural folks self sustainable instead of freebies.
