NTPC has raised USD 400 million via issuance of medium term note, in the international markets, on March 12.
The company in a statement said that, this is the 9th offering under the company’s USD 6 billion Medium Term Note (MTN) programme since it was set up in 2006, which makes the cumulative order raised under the programme to USD 3.85 billion.
Further, the company plans to use the proceeds of the issue, to finance its ongoing and new power projects, coal mining projects & renovation and modernization of power stations.
