Last week, seven out of 10 most valuable domestic firms have added Rs 67,622.08 crore to their market capitalisation. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL), HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC and ITC were among the gainers while Infosys, Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL), and Bharti Airtel had witnessed a decline in their market valuation.
HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank emerged out to be the lead gainers among all, with HDFC Bank adding Rs 28,183.55 crore to its valuation to Rs 5,97,051.15 crore and ICICI Bank had added ?21,839.67 crore to Rs 2,55,929.73 crore. HULβs market capital raised by Rs 6,848.94 crore to Rs 5,17,641.12 crore and Kotak Mahindra Bank added Rs 6,241.25 crore to reach its valuation to Rs 2,65,097.18 crore while, HDFC went up by Rs 1,858.87 crore to Rs 3,22,872.98 crore.
The valuation of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reached Rs 8,43,611.13 crore by adding Rs 2,157.62 crore. ITCβs m-cap rose byΒ Rs 492.18 crore toΒ Rs 2,42,280.13 crore. But, the market cap of RIL declined byΒ Rs 20,507.97 crore to Rs 13,19,705.53 crore and Bharti Airtel dipped by Rs 4,855.45 crore toΒ Rs 2,83,688.98 crore and, market valuation of Infosys went down by Rs 1,972.11 crore toΒ Rs 4,04,151.80 crore.
