The Dubai based airline Flydubai has expanded its network with the launch of services to Chennai with keeping in the view the growing travel market between the country and the UAE.

Flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith said, “Addition of Chennai to our network will provide the opportunity to travellers to visit Dubai more often and explore the Flydubai network which we are already seeing from our other points in India.”

Sudhir Sreedharan, senior vice president, commercial (GCC, Subcontinent, Africa) at Flydubai said that in 2014 with the launch of four new points in the country, Flydubai saw a 70 per cent growth in passenger numbers.
