Adani Enterprises, Hero MotoCorp, VI, Wipro, in Focus

On a standalone basis, the net profit of Hero MotoCorp reported Rs 682.28 crore in the September quarter of FY23, compared with a net profit of Rs 747.79 crore recorded in the second quarter of FY22. Total income rose to Rs 9,252.22 crore in the September quarter of FY23 compared with Rs 8,696.8 crore recorded in the second quarter of FY22.

The IT company Wipro has joined  Amit Choudhary, a senior executive of Capgemini and appointed as a chief operating officer and a member of the executive board. 

On a standalone, the net profit of Adani Enterprises reported a 117 per cent to Rs 461 crore on 183 per cent hit high in total income to Rs 38441 crore in the second quarter of FY23 over the second quarter of  FY22.

Vodafone Idea (VI) reported a net loss of Rs 7595.5 crore in the second quarter of FY23 compared to a net loss of Rs 7132.3 crore reported in the second quarter of FY22. During the second quarter of FY23, total income rose to Rs 10710.6 crore compared with Rs 9435.5 crore in FY22.

Ajanta Pharma reported a net profit of Rs 157 crore in the second quarter of FY23 compared with a net profit of Rs 196 crore reported in FY22. And revenue from operations hit a high of Rs 938 crore in the second quarter of FY23 against Rs 885 crore recorded in FY22.

The estimated projects of Cochin Shipyard cost for the firm order is approximately Rs 1000 crore and the target to complete this project is 35 months.
