Adani Green Stock Surges 2% on New Projects, Capacity Reaches 16,679 MW

Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd surged 2% to touch a day’s high of Rs 1,078.80 on 3rd October, after the company announced the operationalisation and commissioning of new renewable energy projects in Gujarat.

Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) said it has operationalised 112.5 MW of renewable projects at Khavda, Gujarat, through its subsidiaries. This includes an 87.5 MW solar plant under Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Six Ltd. There is also a 25 MW hybrid plant under Adani Green Energy Twenty Five B Ltd. This takes its total operational renewable capacity to 16,598.6 MW.

On 1st October, AGEL’s subsidiary Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Five Ltd commissioned an additional 50 MW solar and 31.2 MW wind project at Khavda. This raised the total capacity to 16,679.8 MW. The projects started generating power on 30th September and 1st October, respectively.

The Khavda renewable energy park is one of the world’s largest clean energy clusters. Adani Green continues to expand its capacity in phases.

At 3:30 PM, the shares of Adani Green ended 0.73% higher at Rs 1,072.50 on NSE.
