Airtel
Airtel credited its AI-powered spam and fraud detection tools for the decline.

Bharti Airtel and its subsidiary Bharti Hexacom have signed agreements with Adani Data Networks, a unit of Adani Enterprises, to acquire 400 MHz of spectrum in the 26 GHz band.

The move is aimed at boosting Airtel’s 5G capabilities and expanding its services across key regions in India.

The spectrum spans six telecom circles β€” Gujarat and Mumbai (100 MHz each), Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan (50 MHz each). This acquisition is expected to strengthen Airtel’s network infrastructure and support its growing customer base with faster speeds and improved capacity.

The deal will help Airtel enhance user experience through better connectivity and higher data speeds.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and standard closing conditions. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
