Adani Launches Open Offer to Buy 29.2% Stake in NDTV

On Tuesday, Adani Enterprises said that its media unit and two other entities would indirectly buy a 29.18% stake in New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV). It would launch an open offer for another 26% stake in the media house.
Adani enterprises have made Rs 493-crore open offer for a 26% stake in NDTV at Rs 294 per share. After this, NDTV’s shares closed 5% higher on Tuesday at Rs 376.55 apiece.

Adani Enterprises, along with Vishvapradhan Commercial Private Limited and AMG Media Networks Ltd, has announced an open offer for acquiring up to 1,67,62,530 fully paid-up equity shares of the face value of Rs 4 each from the public shareholders of the media entertainment company. JM Finance announced the investment and banking firm is currently managing the open officer.

A BSE filing has reported that the open offer is at Rs 294 per equity share, aggregating to a total consideration of up to Rs 492.8 crore payable in cash.
