Advait Greenergy has secured an order worth Rs 116 crore, excluding taxes, from KPI Green Energy for a 200 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The project will involve Advait Greenergy in the engineering, procurement and construction-related work required for the solar development. The Bikaner project is part of the continued expansion of solar capacity in Rajasthan, one of India’s key renewable energy hubs.

The order strengthens Advait Greenergy’s solar EPC pipeline and adds to its growing presence in India’s renewable energy infrastructure sector.

The latest order is significant for Advait Greenergy as it adds a large-scale project to its EPC portfolio. The company has been expanding its renewable energy business alongside its traditional power transmission and infrastructure operations.

Its subsidiary had previously secured a Rs 129.39 crore EPCC order from KPI Green Energy for 67.5 MWp of ground-mounted solar projects in Khavda, Gujarat.

The relationship between the two companies also highlights the growing opportunities within India’s solar supply chain. KPI Green Energy has been expanding its portfolio of solar and hybrid renewable projects, creating demand for engineering and construction partners capable of executing large projects.

The company has been building capabilities across renewable energy, battery storage and other clean-energy technologies as India accelerates its transition towards low-carbon power.

Rajasthan remains an important market for solar developers because of its high solar irradiation and availability of land for large-scale projects. Projects of this size can also contribute to the state’s growing role in supplying renewable electricity to India’s wider power grid.
