Shares of Afcons Infrastructure Ltd surged 3% on 22 July after the company got a Croatian Railway reconstruction contract worth Rs 6,800 crore.
HŽ INFRASTRUKTURA d.o.o. (HŽ Infrastructure Ltd) selected the company as the lowest bidder (L1) for the rehabilitation and construction of a railway line in the Republic of Croatia.
The business stated that the restoration of the existing track and construction of a second track on the Dugo Selo-Novska railway line, including overhead electrification, signalling, and telecommunications work, will be completed in 72 hours.
Last week, Croatian Motorways deemed the company the lowest bidder in two different packages for road building in the Republic of Croatia, valued at Rs 4,535.44.
Earlier, in June, the business won a Letter of Award (LoA) from Reliance Industries for Rs 700 crore worth of building work relating to the Vinyl Projects in Dahej, Gujarat.
In May, the company was declared the lowest bidder (L1) for the water supply project serving 353 villages in the Dungarpur district through the Kadana Backwater (Mahi Dam) Package-1. The total project cost is Rs 463.50 crore.
On 03 January 2025 and 07 April 2025, the share reached a 52-week high of Rs 570.00 and a low of Rs 382.40, respectively.
At 11:58 am, the shares of Afcons Infra were trading 2.29% higher at Rs 428.40 on NSE.
