On Thursday, American Airlines and IndiGo launched a codeshare agreement that allows the former to sell the latter’s seats on the Delhi-Bangalore and Delhi-Mumbai routes, a statement said.

“American Airlines and IndiGo plan to expand codeshare soon to include a dozen other destinations in India (except Bengaluru and Mumbai),” it said.

American Airlines currently only operates the New York-Derry route. American Airlines and IndiGo announced last September that they entered into a codeshare agreement.
