Shares of Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd skyrocketed 9.8% on Wednesday, 13 August, after the subsidiary of the company secured two significant orders totalling Rs 3,200 Crore.
Antony Lara Enviro Solutions, the company’s material subsidiary, has obtained two additional contracts worth Rs 1,600 crore each for the development of waste-to-energy facilities with capacities of 15 MW at the Kadapa Cluster and Kurnool Cluster in Andhra Pradesh.
The contracts given by Andhra Pradesh’s New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation for the processing of MSW trash through material recovery facilities and the incineration of waste in waste-to-energy facilities.
The construction duration for each project will be approximately 24 months, beginning with the signing of the concession agreement, execution of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), or land transfer, whichever occurs first. The deal has a concession period of 20 years.
At 3:15 pm, the shares of Antony Waste were trading 5.23% higher at Rs 609.25 on NSE.
