Ashok Leyland Vehicle Sales Yanked 51%

The Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales volume in August stands at 5,742 units, extended by 21 per cent.

Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland, flagship of Hinduja Group, made a total vehicle sales of 14,121 units (including exports) in August; the company’s annual growth has grown by 51 per cent. Said the Company.

The Hinduja Group flagship sold a total of 9,360 vehicles in August 2021. The Flagship of Hinduja Group sold 9,360 commercial vehicles in August 2021. The sales of Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCV) were up to 81 per cent touching the sales of 8,379 units from 4,632 units sold in August 2021, while the truck capacity extended to 70 per cent (7,325 units) against 4,297 units a year ago.

The Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales volume in August stands at 5,742 units, extended by 21 per cent. Over 4,728 vehicle units were sold in the same month of the previous year. Domestic vehicle sales have risen by 58 per cent (13,301 units) in the under-view month.
