The US health regulator has provided its approval to Aurobindo Pharma for manufacturing and marketing generic Voriconazole tablets that are used in treating fungal infections.
Aurobindo Pharma said in a statement that the company has received final approval from the US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) to manufacture and market Voriconazole tablets in the strengths of 50 mg and 200 mg.
The company said that “the approved product has an estimated market size of USD 103 million for the twelve months ending November 2015 according IMS.
