Shares of Axiscades Technologies Ltd soared 4% on 4 August after the subsidiary of the company announced securing an order worth Rs 224 crore from the Directorate General of Capability Development, Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army).

Axiscades said on Monday, through a stock exchange filing, that its wholly owned subsidiary, Axiscades Aerospace & Technologies Private Limited, has signed a contract worth Rs 223.95 crore with the Indian Army under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” project.

The scope of agreement includes the supply of 212 following-Gen 50-Ton Tank Transporter Trailers, with delivery expected to take place over the following two years.

Tank Transporter Trailers are heavy-duty trailers that carry tanks and armoured vehicles weighing up to 50 tons. They include hydraulic ramps for easy loading and specific wheels that allow the trailer to move or turn easily, even in confined or uneven situations.

In FY25, the company generated Rs 1,031 crore in sales, an increase of 8% from Rs 955 crore in FY24. In terms of profitability, the company’s net profit increased by 127% to Rs 75 crore in FY25, up from Rs 33 crore in FY24.
