Shares of Bajel Projects Ltd were stuck at 5% upper circuit on 25 June after the company received a big order of Rs 100-200 crore from a leading private operator in the energy and power transmission sectors.

The order included two key components for the establishment of a 400kV GIS & 765kV AIS extension substation, with the first part of the order involving the supply of all the EHV equipment with mandatory spares, tools, tackles, and auxiliaries, and the second component covering the service orders for ETC (Erection, Testing, and Commissioning) and Civil works of all the materials/equipment and auxiliaries.

Earlier on 23 June, Power Grid Corporation of India awarded the company an EPC contract worth more than Rs 400 crore for transmission line and substation bay extension works in Madhya Pradesh on behalf of its special purpose vehicle (SPV) MEL Power Transmission.

The aforementioned project is scheduled to be finished within 29 months.

At 12:52 pm, the shares of Bajel projects were locked 5% higher at Rs 233.64 on NSE.
