Barbeque Nation Hospitality First Quarter Profit at Rs 16 Cr; Revenue Grows Three-fold

On Monday, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd, an Indian chain of casual dine-in and buffet restaurants, reported a net profit of Rs 16.02 crore for the June quarter of 2022. A year ago, the company reported a net loss of Rs 43.85 crore in the April-June period. The data was released as part of a regulatory filing of Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd.


The company’s revenue from operations recorded a three-fold growth to Rs 314.86 crore during the quarter under review. In the corresponding quarter, the value was at a low base as sales were impacted during the period.

Barbeque Nation Hospitality’s revenue collections from operations were at Rs 101.97 crore in the April-June quarter of the last financial year. In comparison, the company’s total expenses were at Rs 244 41 crores.


Barbeque-Nation’s shares marked Rs 1,187.95 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), up 1.97% from its previous close.


Founded in 2006 with the idea ‘all you can eat, Barbeque Nation currently owns and operates 190 outlets in India, five in UAE, one in Oman, and one in Malaysia.
