Shares of Bharat Electronics Ltd hit a day high of Rs 432.50 on 22 June after the defence PSU disclosed fresh order wins worth Rs 1,081 crore.

The orders cover a wide range of defence equipment.

According to the exchange filing, the contracts include communication equipment, radars, CBRN protection systems, which guard against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats, seekers, avionics, upgrades, spares and services.

BEL did not disclose individual customer names, which is standard practice for defence contracts.

This is not an isolated win. In May, the company had already disclosed additional orders worth Rs 608 crore since its previous update on 5 May 2026.

The categories then included communication equipment, avionics, an information fusion centre, coastal surveillance radar systems, seekers, jammers, tank sub-systems, laser-based fuzes, simulators, medical electronics and batteries.

Put together, BEL has been pulling in a steady stream of contracts across multiple product lines, which is exactly what investors track in a defence company. Revenue visibility matters more than any single quarter result.

On that note, BEL’s order book stood at Rs 73,882 crore as of 31 March 2026, with new order wins of Rs 30,045 crore during FY26.

Full year revenue grew 16% year on year to Rs 27,479.63 crore. Net profit for FY26 came in at Rs 6,048.48 crore, up 14% over FY25.

For the March 2026 quarter specifically, revenue was Rs 10,177.17 crore and net profit stood at Rs 2,203.16 crore.

BEL closed at Rs 431.45 on BSE, up 1.01% from its previous close of Rs 427.15.
