Shares of BEML Ltd rose 1% to reach a dayโs high of Rs 4,498 on 17th October. This occurred after the company announced a partnership with Kineco Ltd. They will collaborate on advanced composite manufacturing for defence and aerospace applications.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in New Delhi. It was in the presence of BEML CMD Shantanu Roy, Kineco Founder and CMD Shekhar Sardessai, and senior officials from both companies.
Under the partnership, BEML and Kineco will collaborate to develop and manufacture advanced materials. These include carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) structures, glass fibre-reinforced polymer (GFRP) panels, honeycomb cores, foams, and bonding materials for metallic parts.
These materials are essential for next-generation defence and aerospace systems, providing lightweight strength, durability, and high performance.
