Shares of Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) were trading in the green on Monday, 15 December, after the company secured additional orders totalling Rs 776 crore.
Major orders obtained include indigenous counter-unmanned aerial systems (SAKSHAM), software-defined radios, anti-drone systems, communication equipment, medical electronics, gun control systems, weapon control systems, security software, avionics, masts, components, upgrades, spares, and services, among others.
Earlier, in November, the company received further orders totalling Rs 871 crore for fire control systems, thermal imagers, ground support equipment, upgrades, spares, and services.
Additional orders worth Rs 792 crore have also been won, including defence network upgrades, radio communication networks, radars, communication equipment, drones, combat management systems, gun sighting systems, upgrades, replacements, and services.

The company designs and manufactures advanced electronic systems for ground and aerospace applications.
