On Friday, the telecom major Bharti Airtel and Vodafone have rolled out their fourth generation (4G) trials in selected areas.
Bharti Airtel has rolled out the service in Rourkela (Odisha) and Karnataka’s Manipal, Udupi and Tumkur, whereas Vodafone didn’t disclose any details of the areas where it is conducting the trials.
Bharti Airtel with these launches offers 4G in 44 cities in India, firstly it has launched 4G services in Kolkata in April 2012.
