Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), has bagged an order for setting up a 75 MW solar photovoltaic (SPV) power plant on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis, in Gujarat.
BHEL has received the order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL). The plant has to be set up at Solar Park, Charanka, Gujarat.
Moreover, this will be the company’s largest solar PV project till date and the company’s solar portfolio with this order, has raised to 545 MW.
