BHEL has bagged an order from Power Grid, worth Rs.350 crore for setting up two 765 kV substations in West Bengal.
The company in a statement said that, this is the largest value 765 kV substation project order for BHEL so far.
BHEL has received order from Power Grid Corp’s, wholly owned subsidiary Power GridΒ Medinipur Jeerat Transmission Ltd (PMJTL).
Moreover, the project needs toΒ be completed by the company onΒ Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) basis. Further, the project will be engineered and delivered by BHEL on total turnkey basis.
