Biopeak plans two more clinics this year, with each expected to break even within 12-18 months of opening.
Speaking to the Sources, co-founder and CEO Rishi Pardal said the new 14,500 square foot flagship facility brings diagnostics, regenerative therapies and personalised preventive care together under one roof.
It comes less than a year and a half after Biopeak opened its first clinic in April 2025, and the company currently runs two centres.
Pardal explained that each Biopeak clinic typically takes 12 to 18 months to break even on its own. Getting the company as a whole to profitability is a bigger task though.
He said Biopeak would need somewhere between 8 and 10 clinics running before its central technology and operating costs are fully absorbed.
The flagship centre reflects lessons learned from the first clinic. Biopeak has moved beyond just diagnostics, adding regenerative therapies, personalised treatment protocols and nutrition focused care to its offerings.
Right now, most of the demand comes from older customers dealing with existing health issues.
Pardal believes people in their late 20s and early 30s actually stand to gain the most from preventive health measures, even if they aren’t the ones showing up yet.
On competition, Pardal positioned Biopeak as different from typical wellness apps and wearable platforms.
He described the company’s approach as outcome driven, built around combining diagnostics, treatment and ongoing monitoring rather than offering wellness services in isolation.
Biopeak has no plans to build its own wearable device either, preferring to stay hardware agnostic and pull data from whatever gadgets its customers already use.
The company is also in talks with several insurance providers, hoping preventive health programmes can eventually be covered under standard health insurance policies.
Biopeak’s post money valuation currently stands at around Rs 50 crore following its most recent funding round, and Pardal said discussions for the next round, at a higher valuation, are already underway.
For now, the company’s focus stays on the Indian market, though Pardal sees longer term potential in places like Singapore, Dubai and the US, where large Indian communities live.
